Hi, I'm Ashley Tuppen, a muralist and creative designer based in Northeast Texas.

I've loved creating art ever since I was a kid. Growing up in De Kalb, Texas, I was lucky to have parents who encouraged my creativity from an early age. That passion eventually led me to earn a B.F.A. in Studio Art from Texas A&M University–Commerce.

I planned on becoming an art teacher, but soon after entering the field, I realized my heart was headed a different direction. During a period of experimentation, I painted my first mural and immediately fell in love with the process.

Today I create custom murals and artwork for businesses, organizations, and individuals who want to transform their spaces into something unique. I love the challenge of designing artwork that feels like it truly belongs in its environment while reflecting the people, stories, or ideas behind it.

Outside of painting, you'll usually find me exploring National Parks, camping, hiking, or wandering through the Southwest with my camera and sketchbook. The landscapes, wildlife, and interactions I experience while traveling continually influence the colors, textures, and subjects that find their way into my work. When I'm not outside, I'm probably planning my next trip, playing volleyball, or curled up with a good book and an even better dog.

Whether I'm painting a mural on the side of a building or working on a smaller personal piece, my goal is the same: to create artwork that helps people feel more connected—to a place, to nature, and to the stories around them.

See ya on the flip side,

Ashley Tuppen
